How to Request Data Deletion
To request the deletion of your Whispr account and all associated data, you have two options:
Option 1: In-App Deletion
Open Whispr and go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data.
Option 2: Email Request
Send an email to the address below with the following details:
- Subject: "Data Deletion Request — Whispr"
- The email address associated with your Whispr account
- Your display name (as shown in the app)
- Reason for deletion (optional)

What Gets Deleted
- Your account profile and authentication credentials
- Session pairing history and connection data
- Subscription and billing records
- Push notification tokens and preferences
- Voice recordings, if any (premium feature)
Timeline
- We will confirm your request within 24–48 hours
- All data is permanently deleted within 30 days
- Backup data is securely destroyed within 90 days
This process is irreversible. Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered.
